I’m Not As Excited For Battlefield 3 As I Was After Spending Some Time With The Beta.

maybe it’s because I’m just burnt out on shooters for the time being.

Or maybe it’s because, as fun as it may be, the game is pretty laggy and glitchy.
Maybe it’s because the servers were down four+ hours yesterday and it was still spotty today.
Maybe it’s because AFTER that was resolved, it would lose connection for no reason.
Maybe it’s because of all the “unknown errors” I kept getting practically the whole day today.

I’m not sure.
What I am sure is that what ever anticipation I had for this game has dwindled considerably.

I know.
It’s an open beta. There’s bound to be issues.
This game comes out October 25th.
That’s three weeks and three days away.
I also understand that EA could always just send out a patch once it’s finally released.
But it shouldn’t.
Not for such a high profile, ‘must have’, ‘day one purchase’, type of game.
At least, I don’t think so.

I really hope all these issues get fixed by the time of its release.
EA has talked itself a BIG game these past couple of months.
Let’s hope they don’t have to eat those words.
